Me: "Man, SEGA do you really think you can make me buy basically the same game with the same gameplay, only a few extra songs and costumes for the full price of an imported japanese game? You must be out of your mind!"

SEGA: "There will be SPiCa and its costume in this game"

Me: "MUST HAVE"

Spiral Game

At first this didn't start out like a song I would like, but I guess with the whole group singing thing the negative qualities of the individual VOCALOIDS (yes I didn't think the vocaloids themselves were singing that great this time) canceled out. In any case, there are to Lens so I'm sure the fangirls are amusied. :V

Handed

I wonder if there is some evolutionary reason why right-handedness predominates over left-handedness. There is probably some survivability benefit in being right-handed, or somehow right-handed people are more reproductive for unknown reasons. Over both left-handed and ambidextrous persons.

This is a mystery I truly must solve.

I saw some similar news in the UCSD website too. It's still hard to be fully convinced of course and this type of research is always going to cause controversy, but I do believe that different people are different, and that can mean a lot. :V

fuzichoko

I have a confession to make.

I believe this person is the best artist in the world.

http://www.pixiv.net/member.php?id=27517

And on top of that, for whatever reason I find her tweets really cute. Despite the fact that I can only read it half the time... ok maybe only a quarter of the time... Regardless, her tweets sound mature, yet also dream-like, sort of like the pictures she draws.

Speaking of her drawings, her drawings are the best in the world. There's a lot of reasons for this. Its not just because she draws cute girls (although imo that factors in a lot), since a lot of artists on pixiv draw cute girls. In fact, there might be other people who draw cuter girls than she does.

However, she doesn't just draw cute girls, she draws cute girls in extraordinary settings with amazing scenery. Her scenery isn't just normal life, nor is it something grand and incomprehensible (which is typically what I see a lot of scenery drawings on pixiv: either a scene from everyday life or something out of this world, from the big bang or something). They're normal scenes... but not. They make you take a second look - its surrealism, with moe. Its just extraordinary.

So it might be her drawings affect my image of her when I see her tweets. I see, often, a girl, daydreaming, yet caring, innocent, yet mature. Probably from all the incomprehensible tweets on my twitter she was the one I was "worried" most when the earthquake hit.

In spite of the fact that I cannot comprehend most of her tweets.

Ok, I'm scaring myself. */end stalker mode*

Pretty Cure

Since I have a good taste of all the pretty cure seasons (save the second season of Yes! Pretty Cure) I want to give a general overview of which seasons are the best in what areas, and which are not. Possibly, spoilers? Although I'll try not to put in too much.

Plotline: Heartcatch Pretty Cure has probably the best plotline planned out out of all the series, considering that each season is almost 50 episodes long. While most seem to op for the "flunkies for filler, occasional boss character for quarter-season marks", Heartcatch spun it up with the dark precure/cure moonlight story. Albeit, I thought that how Heartcatch ended the series seemed a little fizzled out, but still not too terrible.
For runner up I think Fresh Pretty Cure is doing a relatively good job as well. It was rather intriguing how they were attempting to convert Eas over to Pretty Cure because of how adamant she was in appearing to hate Pretty Cure. Well, I don't know how the story is going to go from here on since the rest hasn't been subbed, so we'll have to see.

Characters: In the end I still think Pretty Cure Splash Star has the best characters, overall. On the good guys' side there's Mai, the unexpected super moe of the pretty cure realm, and the tree spirit fairy which is a moe loli... we need more moe loli fairies rather than ugly plush dolls! On the other side, there's the always-entertaining bad guys (except for the creepy girl duo, who still creeped me out even though they turned good) who, as evil as they try to be, always was good for a laugh.
Runner up on the good guys' side is HeartCatch merely because Erika is just SUCH an awesome character. Tsubomi is actually pretty cute too, and the scene where she has her hair down in the movies is 超可爱~~!!! Also, not really a hero, but Momo-nee is amazing in her own way. Must run in the family. Still, Erika has a really awesome character personality, and the episodes devoted mostly to her are just so epic. Also, I haven't watched too much of Suite yet but it looks like Kanade might turn out to be a strong contender for moe.
Runner up in the bad guy's side is Suite Precure. Once again we have a set of enemies where we just can't take seriously, and that makes it all the more entertaining for me. (Some people seem to like serious bad guys, I like the ones that have good comedy value... you can't really take series like these seriously anyway) I mean come on, you have this eccentric king that doesn't look evil at all, an emo tsukkomi cat and a trio of sopranos who doesn't seem to do anything but sing chords at the most terrible times... I really am enjoying the new enemies in Suite Precure. :V Also, Fresh Pretty Cure gets runner up as well for having the "ECDA Bad Guys" trio: the sneaky bastard, the jealous girl, and the bumbling baffoon <<< its obvious that the PJBW-style guy is the bad guy I like the most. :V
Mood: I think Fresh Pretty Cure, at least the first couple of episodes, seems to have the best themes which sets the mood of the audience. I think the one eraser episode in particular was quite moving given that it seemed to be just a filler episode, and that in a way surprised me. Lots of "dokidoki" moments in Fresh Pretty Cure imo, so that's something they have going for them. :V I think Heartcatch would be 2nd, but I just didn't quite feel the compassion as much as I did watching Fresh Pretty Cure. Maybe Erika is too much of a jerk. :V You go Erika!
Action: Pretty Cure Splash Star. At least, if you want to base it off of final epic battle moments, there's nothing that beats PCSS's final battle imo, at least if you watch the series from start to finish. Perhaps its just because PCSS is the series where they finally start doing things right (in contrast to original and max heart, which are just terrible) so that's why I think the battles are much better in PCSS than all else, which are either copying styles from PCSS or just outright terrible (original, Max Heart, Pretty Cure 5 imo fall in this category). Heartcatch Pretty Cure is pretty interesting in that they have a lot more variety in attacks and even have powerup items! Different perfume smells! But, I really wish they expanded at least on the powerup items, because I think that would have been cool.
Logic: Hmm... I think Splash Star seemed to be the most workable logic theme most of the time, at least not as much "arrrgh" as I find sometimes in other series. Runner up would be Fresh Pretty Cure.
Most Terrible Hair:...I added this category because it seems Pretty cure has a theme of having TERRIBLE HAIR for their transformed characters, and it seems I can't just pick one season. All seasons seem to have their "what the hell is with this outrageous hairstyle" but thankfully the characters usually have a interesting enough personality such that it doesn't have too much of an effect. In other words I'm getting used to terrible hair. :(

RANDOM THEMES FOUND IN PRETTY CURE:
1. Farms, or episodes where the pretty cure girls go off to work in the countryside.
2. There is ALWAYS at least one episode where the girls talk about breaking up.
3. For the first couple of seasons, everything always gets magically fixed after Pretty Cure is done battling, and everyone always falls asleep if there is a battle going on.
4. For the later couple of seasons, things don't get fixed but pretty cure is always a hero no matter how beat up the town is thanks to the bad guy invading.
5. Can't be Pretty Cure without a catchphrase. Admittedly, Heartcatch Pretty Cure's catchphrases were the worst, they were like 2 sentences long and didn't stick at all.
6. Bad guys always turn things into monsters which repeat a certain phrase or name over again.
7. Bad guys will always turn back normal with a ga-ga look on their faces saying some happy phrase or otherwise gibberish before turning back into normal.
8. There is ALWAYS merchandise for which vendors will, for sure, trick young girls into buying.
9. Fairies look like stuffed animals so they can pass as toys when real people see them. Damn fairies.

くれよん

A new "hoppy" GUMI song. My preference is usually these types of songs (most of the time over the sad songs, and all the time over all the rock type songs) so I'm quite happy that a song like this has appeared again! One hasn't come out for quite a while.

"Kureyon" is... some weird hiragana which I don't understand. :V GOOGLE TRANSLATE DOESN'T KNOW EITHER. It better not be fooling me just because its April Fool's Day. :V
