Spring

There's a lot of talk around sakura blossoms, but generally the purple flower trees around LA are about just as nice.

Also, flowers blooming next to the highway exit! I know, I'm not a photographer.

キミトセカイ

A good melody song, feels like an ending theme to an anime season! Or maybe I'm just thinking that way seeing how my screening presentation is tomorrow and the day after I head off to China. A end of some sorts?

The title seems to say something like "Kimi sekai" which I guess now that I read it out means "your world"? :V

WHAT IS THIS I CAN'T EVEN DESCRIBE--

Miku Cars 2

http://blogs.wsj.com/japanrealtime/2011/05/10/toyotas-new-u-s-saleswoman-virtual-idol-hatsune-miku/

The first thing that struck me was while reading the article it said "busty", and I was like "wait, what? Miku? Busty? :V"

Consequently enough ALL the comments so far are complaining how Miku shouldn't have been termed "busty" LOL.

FizzBuzz

I cannot believe it. I absolutely can not believe this statement is true, or at least is still true in today's generation. I believe that most people are just really nervous at interviews and can't think through a program properly under the pressure of the interviewer, and that's why such a simple problem can take a while or they might get brainjammed, but I don't believe anyone who has a computer science degree cannot figure something like that out.

Again, I think its probably just people getting nervous in interviews and not that people can't figure it out. Of course this is a 3 years ago thing!

On the other hand:

and

Probably holds a little more truth, and I'm a little more scared about that. Aside from my lab I don't spend a lot of my free time coding, so this could actually be more serious. :V Not to say I can't program, I certainly believe at this state I'm programming fine, but, hmm... if you want dire passion in my work, I guess I'd need to work on something like that.

Hatsune Miku and Cars

Oh shit. :V

"Official Car of Hatsune Miku" Ok that was kind of a cheesey line that killed everything.

マーメイド

I've been seeing this theme for a bit these days on Pixiv, so I had to go see what was this about. It's an interesting song; its the most mechanical-sounding GUMI song I've heard. Not that it's that bad; on the contrary, I can see why people would like it. Although I wouldn't say it's one her best works...probably unique though. The design is really cute and interesting in style, too.

BTW the title is "Mermaid", although I don't think I saw her in a mermaid outfit or form in the video... :V

Vocaloid Catchup

As the title implies!

Floating Shelter

The song which I think deserves to be #1 (not that the other one is bad). It has a certain repetitive pattern that makes it quite catchy. There's probably something in the theme that also makes it interesting, if I could understand what it was. :V Must have something to do with hikikomoris. :V

アンハッピーリフレイン
(Unhappy Refrain?)

The number 1 vocaloid song right now. Reminiscent of "World's End Dance Hall", complete from the song style to the art style. I guess its made by the same person, probably? :V Oh well, it's not too bad anyway.

(Dream Map)

40-meters strikes again! I know he makes a lot of good Miku songs, but I actually don't remember if he made any other GUMI songs before this one... Well regardless this one is quite neat. More mellow and calm than the last two songs (and more optimistic?).
