This is a pretty scary concept... purposely try to boost the immune system response with an infection to fight off cancer? That's dealing with the immune system, bacteria, and cancer at the same time... this is a really scary concept. :|
The people being treated have to have a REALLY healthy body other than cancer for this to work!
