This is very likely a spoiler so if you intend to watch and you're not around half done with the series yet, maybe you should skip.
With that being said,
Cure Sunshine is the greatest anomality in magical girls. I have never met a character so mind-bending defying -- even considering Nadeshiko/Nadehiko from Shugo Chara, this one... defies all my expectations. The weird thing is, thinking it from a normal perspective, its a perfectly fine, but...
WHEN SHE TRANSFORMS, SHE'S SO GIRLY. HER COSTUME IS GIRLY. ITS THE EPITOME OF A CUTE GIRL.
BUT.
SHE ACTS. SO. MANLY. OTL. Like even in shugo chara, when nadeshiko is nadeshiko he acts like a girl, but as Nadehiko he is a guy through and through. That's fine. Appearance matches personality.
This, for whatever reason, is not. Cure Sunshine... is way too manly in her actions, and way too girly in her appearance and transform/finisher. AAAAAH IT HURTS MY HEAD IT HURTS MY HEAD. TWO IMAGES THAT SHOULD HAVE NEVER COME TOGETHER SOMEHOW DID, AND IT'S CAUSING PAIN IN MY STEREOTYPICAL PERCEPTION OF THINGS, AAAAH MY GOD
