HAPPY (Theoretical) NEW YEAR!!!

Yes you heard right. Today at midnight, it isn't really a new year. Heck how could we have a new year in China while we still have an old year? It seems purposeless to base the whole year system off a rather irregular 365 and 1/4 days in the middle of a very cold and bland winter. Why not at the start of Spring, or a new Lunar year like Chinese New Year? How the heck did the new year get stuck int eh middle of a cold and annoying winter?
It MUST be the Europeans again.
Heck they get months named off of them. And it follows right after Christmas, a holiday started probably by the Europeans (Though Israel is located in the Middle East...). Furthermore, year 2004? Of what, some girl or something. Again, its based off of the Europeans. WHY DO THE EUROPEANS TAKE OVER THE WORLD?!?! WHY AM I SPEAKING ENGLISH???? WHY COULDN'T THE WORLD SPEAK CHINESE!!!
Wait, but then most of the ppl in the world do speak Chinese... >.> <.< But they all live in China of course. :P
Resolutions. Who ever made that up? And why do we have to come up with new ones every year? don't we just say the same resolutions over again every year? Bah. My resolutions this year are to finish these assignments for Christmas Break:

Christmas Cheer

So. Christmas time rolls along, and everyone is happy giving out gifts. Though I wonder ("NOOOO") why should we celebrate Christmas? I for one am not religious. Neither is my family. So why does everyone go around handing out gifts to this holiday they don't really celebrate? This brings me to the topic of seriousness in religion. My stand upon religion shall go upon as "No comment", however, I do respect those who are ardently religious, yet not so fanatical that they'll go around killing the rest that aren't part of their religion. In particular, though, I don't respect those who are partially religious, ie those who say "All you need to do is believe in God to goto heaven!" Those type of ppl usually frustrate me the most.
Anyway, now to make myself look like a complete hypocrite, our family still celebrates Christmas. And friends still give us presents. And gosh darnit, you really do feel bad if someone gives you a gift and you don't give one back, even if it is only part of their tradition.

So how should I say this? I don't wanna celebrate Christmas, but everyone else does, so I suppose I have to. :/ In times like these it can calm your mind down a lot if you really do have a set religion like Christianity.

Or if you have Bhuddism and still celebrate Christmas, things can really be confusing. @.@
In any case. At least its only Christmas. I pretty much forget about Easter and any other religious holiday is completely not with me. However, I feel highly hypocritical for celebrating Christmas, even if it is just putting up Christmas lights and exchanging gifts. -_-

My statement? If you want to do something, please do it with your heart all into it; half-hearted people are quite... irritating.

DAMMIT THIS COLLEGE IS SO FRUSTRATING!!!! I REALLY WANT TO APPLY TO THIS COLLEGE BUT DAMN I HATE THEIR COLLEGE APPLICATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!

Alright Alright. Today a letter arrived in the mail and it for some reason says that I already sent in my application, only I don't have my Essays, SATs, Recommendations, etc. OF COURSE I DON'T HAVE THEM YET THE APPLICATION DUE DATE IS JANUARY 15TH!!!! I ONLY SENT IN THE FIRST PORTION WITH THE 50 BUCKS BECAUSE THE SITE WON'T LET ME ACCESS THE REST OF THE SITE IF I DIDN'T!!!!
Alright, Alright. Hopefully, I can call the Admissions office on Monday and ask what the heck is going on. and HOPEFULLY it won't be too late by then.

Winter Break

Tis really a break... or tis really a break? From my schedule, it doesn't seem like it. For future reference and to show what a real break (in the neck) it'll be, here's a list of things I must do:

Well Well. Its a rather simple game for over the internet playing, but very funny. Graphics are great, way better than the actual gameplay, but hey with the ability to become little chibi characters, what's there to lose? Yea I know, I should be doing the excessive amount of college applications I need to do. Along with some random schoolwork.

Hmm.

Eeh. Today is the last day that I can take SATs for colleges. I'm quite disappointed though. I did incredibly horrendous on my SAT Math IIC... now THIS is bad, considering how much of a math person I am and how this portrays me quite in the wrong light in the whole scheme of things. In complete honesty, I am completely crushed and I truly feel I can no longer get to the main college I was aiming for (Harvey Mudd). Since half the app is done anyway, and I already paid 50 bucks, I'll turn in an app, even do an interview. But no physics, a extremely lousy SAT II Math IIC score...
My best hope is to transfer while I'm at another college next year, perhaps USC. I probably deserved it anyway, since I think I was being overconfident by not studying.
