Anime Stuff- Jigoku Shoujo

Lately, my RO has been rather laggy so I've been reluctant to play it, even though I should because I'm wasting my monthly payment... Well, Anyway, I've been watching anime, Namely Jigoku Shoujo and Da Capo Second Seasons. Both anime are pretty contrasting.

Both anime have their interesting points, but since I'm watchinkg Jigoku Shoujo right now, I think I'll start with that one. First and foremost, the depth of this anime is very intriguing. It would best be said to be a gothic/horror mahou shoujo series, though that in a way sounds weird. It's not any monster coming to earth and destroying the planet, but instead a girl going around taking vengence requests sending people to hell... obviously, the originality of this concept is spectacular, but it can get old fast if that's what the entire series is about. Luckily, the series is putting in a more overarching story as you get along, though the concept is still there in nearly every episode. I'm a little bit impatient, so to speak, to see what exactly is going to happen, but its all right; the stories are decently good, even if the main concept is the same in each episode. And the slow progression of the series is enough to make me want to watch the entire series to its end... even though I'd want to go through it slowly and fully understand the deepness of the story.
Along with the lines of depth, I noticed that the symbolic meanings in the story are powerful. Its not noticable at first, well, not to me, but slowly it becomes more clear. Obviously when you get the middle of the story, then the series practically blurts some of the symbols to those who haven't got it yet... But there still seems to be some symbols left which I haven't figured out yet... disappointing hum.
I surely hope Jigoku Shoujo will have a nice ending. It would truly disappoint me if the ending doesn't turn out that great.

I'll probably type up more stuff while I"m in China :p
