In case anyone who reads this hasn't been talking to me recently I am currently in obsessed fanboy mode over the new Vocaloid voice synthesizer, GUMI. Her voice sounds more realistic than all the other Vocaloid singers out right now and imo can be absolutely fantastic if programmed correctly. Unfortunately I have zero composition talent (if only I could compose instead of write...) so I'm just stuck with listening to what other people made. V:
So far Blue bird is my absolute favorite. The better GUMI songs I'll be posting on facebook but there are a few which I'm pretty sure no one would listen to (twice) besides me, so I'll just post the lesser popular ones here, just for reference.
But everyone should listen to Blue Bird, which is posted on my Facebook.

http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm7598073 << OF COURSE, THIS WAS INEVITABLE. From this video one can tell that the synthesizer still has a long ways to go from mimicking the actual human voice, but for a synthesizer, still not too bad. Miku wouldn't be able to do any better, that's for sure. :V
