Summary: Study says men like women who are shorter/in a lower position/ appear to have less "power". Women like men in the higher up position. While I do think this shows some obvious social bias, I guess its not really that hard to conclude that since you can sort of see that in society. Except with feminists.

Definitely a huge grain of salt to be taken with that article. I'm sure it's true in a lot of cases for certain cultures, but personal preference mean just that - by definition, they vary (sometimes wildly) from person to person.
I think attractiveness has a lot to do with what a person can offer in the relationship. For example, someone who feels ignored and rejected by everyone else might be attracted to a person who actually listens to them. People who live in an environment that bows to their wishes might similarly be attracted or at least intrigued by those odd people that actually stand up to them. Some genders might wind up in one camp more often than another, but I don't think it means the genders themselves prefer it one way or another.
